How to activate Rename multiple items menu bar action in Finder?

However when you select multiple items, the menu bar action changes name and my hotkey gets dropped:

Is it possible to make one hotkey that will either rename item if only one item is selected or it will rename multiple items if multiple items is selected from one hotkey?

Hey Nikita,

Apple is stupid about things like that...

By now you should know that adding a caret to the beginning of your menu item string turns it into a regular expression:

Thank you @ccstone

I knew that regex was one solution I could use but didn’t think the regex would be that simple. My bad.
