Peter closed the other thread before I got a chance to respond. So I started a new one.
I just wanted to say:
SHAME on those ungrateful, rude so-and-sos who insulted Peter and denegrated Keyboard Maestro. Y'all are suffering from a combination of a complete lack of courtesy and an acute rectal-cranial inversion. You should get that looked at.
Peter is engaging in a virtuosic, heroic act of software development. He is single-handedly developing an incredibly complex and powerful piece of software, while supporting it fully and continually improving it. He is also extremely generous with his time on this forum, and very patient with his clientele -- especially the noobs who are struggling with the learning curve.
Thank you Peter, for doing a great job, creating an amazing, elegant product, and improving so many of our lives.
Also, I'd like to say that I think Keyboard Maestro is beautifully designed. An interface doesn't have to look like a day-spa or a child's product to be well designed.
Once I familiarized myself with KM's design heuristic, I found it easy to use, easy to adjust and easy to read when I was looking at someone else's macro.
Oh, that's another thing: at exactly no additional cost to the user, Peter has designed KM so that we can freely trade macros and discuss them on this forum. This is head-and-shoulders above the level of care given by nearly every other developer.
So, well-done Peter. Thank you for Keyboard Maestro and all that you do. KM is a powerful, elegant transformative piece of software, and we love it.
Friend, that's the polite version. And when someone is abusive and disrespectful to someone who provides mission-critical technology -- this kind of response is not only necessary, it is essential.
Hi to everyone here,
No offence. Just that it's good to close the case and move on since Peter has officially close the original post. Revival only cause more unhappiness and resentment due to different tone and language use even though out of good intention. What has been said has been said, so it's time we move forward positively in this forum :}
I am also deeply grateful to Peter for KM. It's mind-boggling to me how he does it all. When I look at an airplane in the sky, I am also amazed by how it seems to float in the air. Every time I use KM, I get the same sense of awe and wonder as watching an airplane flying.
If I ever said anything that annoyed Peter (and I probably did) I apologize.
If you have specific , constructive suggestions, feel free to post on a new topic.
My specific constructive suggestions:

Unfortunately what has been positive for one may be negative comment by others because of tone used for such topic that does not have a solution. I sure everyone here want KM to be the best software ever and that include those who has issue (ui, user experience ) with KM since they too continue to use it regardless. It is tiresome for Peter to monitor such post.
