@MarkSealey, I know, this will lead off topic. But I think I have to mention it nevertheless:
Currently on macOS and iOS there is absolutly no need to use close-source-based password managers. Some alternatives there.
So, if your password database contains anything sensitive (like bank account credentials), I suggest to rethink, before using 1 Password, LastPass or similar. As linked, there are plenty of alternatives, based on an open source database format, which means, it is less likely that your data can be read by unauthorized programs/people.
As said, since this is OT, I would suggest to not expand on this in this thread. However, I mentioned it because it is security-relevant.
