I would like to simulate the accessibility Zoom feature. (I have “Use scroll gesture with modifier keys to Zoom” to Control in the Zoom section of the Accessibility System Preferences pane.) It would be nice to have a macro that zooms by a certain amount in or out to either bind to a keystroke or use in other macros. However, what I really want is simply to be able to set the Zoom back to normal (unzoom?) with a single keystroke. Note that this has nothing to do with Zooming a window.
To clarify, you are talking about magnification, not window size.
