Extract Text from an Image

Hi,

Can anyone explain how to use Keyboard Maestro 9.0's OCR feature to extract text from an image and copy it to the clipboard?

That's easy. It takes one action:

But you need to be aware of a few things.

If it's not English, there are special steps you have to take.
I'm guessing that the image you want is in a file. In that case change the top option in this action from Image to File.
Although I haven't use the KM action much, I have used the underlying technology a lot. It isn't perfect, unless your image is pretty good quality.
