In Keyboard Maestro’s Window menu, there’s the Editor, plus five other possible on-screen windows. For users who prefer minimal keyboarding and maximum on-screen availability, it seems ideal to also have the Actions Library in a separate on-screen window that can remain on-screen.
The ability to customize the layout and size of an Actions Library window would also be beneficial. In addition to the current sheet's layout and information users could choose to display more or less information, such as favorites, most used, most recent, and by category.
An alternative would be to add a new dedicated column for the Actions Library so it didn't leave the screen after each use requiring keystrokes to make visible.
FWIW, I use Insert Action by Name exclusively for adding actions. My bugbear is that it's not possible to disable the side panel popping out whenever you click an empty action slot, so I've had to script closing it automatically. (Edit: see below ↓)
