Just came across this Macro in the macro library from 2017 but cannot get the For Each action using the Finder Selection option to return a variable for a file highlighted on the desktop. I am using KM 10.02 with MacOS Catalina 10.15.7. Any ideas?
You should probably ask this question under the macro post you're talking about rather than starting a new thread, or at the very least post your macro here so we can see what you're talking about.

This macro means nothing without an accompanying link to it.
People generally won't do detective work to figure something like that out, so you aren't likely to get much help.
